Anyone who's gotten out of a long term depression, how'd you do it? Is there hope?

I've been depressed for about eleven years now, since I was twelve. I go to therapy and take my medicine, and have done so for a couple of years, but I'm still so depressed and suicidal. Can't help but wonder if I'm too far gone
