Stomach burn while fasting during Ramadan?

Asalam Aleikum, I woke up having stomach acid. I don’t know whether it’s permissible to break my fast and take some medication or not. Please, give accurate info. Thanks.

The best things to eat during iftar are those foods which doesn;t cause acidity in stomach, avoid oily deep fried foods.

Wa alaikum salam.If you really have a stomach burn dosease you can break your fasting and consult to a doctor.But you shoulf replace the days breaking fasting to fast as skon as after the end of Ramadan.

if it is causing you severe harm then yes break your fast your health is more important than a fast there will be plenty of other fasts if you can handle the discomfort continue the fast, take an anti acid medication and eat some non acidic food later
