Why do we sweat even if we've showered?

Where I live it's boiling hot so I'm hot and sweaty more than usual so I've showered 3 times today and I've noticed I'm pouring with sweat after the showers and my hair is taking longer to dry even though it's very short.

When it's hot and humid that's what happens!

Sweating is your body's way of cooling off. Taking a shower doesn't do anything to keep you cool. Your hair is taking longer to dry because the air is already very humid.
