It is better to avoid darker colours, such as red or purple. These can stain the colon and lead to inaccurate diagnoses.

I would recommend shoving a FAB or Feast up your back passage before a colonoscopy, for their bobbly nature. It will give you some pre soothing treatment and help make the procedure bearable
