I’ve had a couple yellow/whitish dots together I’m the back of my throat, and my throats been sor. My aunt thinks it’s mono, any ideas??

Yellowish white patches usually mean strep throat, especially if your throat is extremely sore and you're running fever. You will need an antibiotic to clear it up.

Yes, it's a good idea to see a doctor. And obviously, your aunt isn't one or she'd know for sure.

Probably strep I went to the doctor yesterday and they tested me for strep and came back positive and I have yellowish/whitish dots and sore throat

Could be mono, any other virus, or bacteria. You can’t diagnose often just by looking.

It could be strep throat. Look up reference images online and, if you think this could be the case, see a doctor for an easy test and diagnosis. Actually, you should probably see a doctor either way.
