Why are 20th century born people want to go back to the 20th century?

If they go back to the 20th century, this means everyone born in the 21st century like me (Born in the year 2000 or later) would not exist anymore. Why are they so stupid?

It is not that we want to go back but it is that we know what happened and we don't have to worry about what is to come.
